Repaired by splicing fiber damaged by trenching equipment when the crew started working before the locate information was available. Bad move. Pictures to the right. ->

Climbed on to the roof of a very nice restaurant in Toronto's Distillery District around Christmas Eve (11 pm, 2 degree centigrade, 1ft of fresh snow, no ice thankfully!) to repair a 70ft piece of fiber broken by roofers using the conduit as a step stool. The 200 seat restaurant was completely packed and all the servers carried iPad's to take orders. Not a fun night for anyone. Completed successfully.

Repaired a fiber cable connecting to a few others when a trace and remove went bad. The crew accidentally cut an untagged cable, around the Southbound 427 and Gardiner Expy, taking out all the traffic lights in the surrounding streets. This wasn't discovered till later and we were asked to repair in the rain because of the urgency and danger to life and limb in that busy area. We responded when no one else would and successfully completed the job.
